About Us

Foster-based with the goal of being brick & mortar

Fur Angel Rescue Shelter is an approved IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit (EIN: 85-0788121). FARS is NO-KILL unless medically necessary. We provide food, shelter, medical treatment, and our animals are in loving foster homes until they find a perfect forever home. We do not receive any state or federal funding and rely on support from the community to help homeless animals.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide temporary and long-term shelter and vet care for homeless dogs and cats. To promote animal welfare education, reduce the overpopulation with a mandatory spay/neuter program, promote adopting vs buying from a breeder, provide necessary veterinary care, and we value our "no-kill" policy unless medically/behaviorally necessary. Every animal deserves a chance.

Often animals come to us with nothing to call their own. Our Amazon and Chewy Wish List has many of the items we need every day to keep the rescue running smoothly and the animals in our care happy and healthy as they wait for their forever homes.
